Sonya Sen, PT, DPT —

Biography
Sonya grew up in Southern California where she earned her B.S. in biology from UC San Diego in 2004. After graduation, Sonya moved to Washington DC, where she worked in research for one year. During this time she decided she wanted to make a difference in people’s lives by aiding in their recovery. She returned to California to complete her Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Mt. Saint Mary’s College in 2009. She has since worked in a private clinic treating patients with varying diagnoses, from hip and knee replacements to TMJ disorders.
Sonya returned to Washington DC and began working with Orthopaedic Medicine & Surgery in July 2011. In her free time, Sonya enjoys going to the beach, traveling, swimming and working out at the gym.
