Tiernan Damas, PT, DPT received her B.A. with honors from the University of Iowa in 2011. After a career as a professional dancer, she received her Clinical Doctorate with Honors in Physical Therapy from Emory University in 2017. Tiernan specializes in performing arts physical therapy, previously treating the Joffrey Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, and Suzanne Farrell Ballet. She is an active member of the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science and Dance/USA’s Dancer Health Task Force. She is a certified myofascial trigger point therapist (Dry Needling) and is fluent in Spanish.
