Shyanne was born and raised on the Fort Belknap Indian Reservation in Northeastern Montana, spending most of her adolescence in Page, Arizona. She attended Baylor University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Health Science Studies in 2013. Then went on to complete her Clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Marymount University in Arlington, VA in 2024. During her graduate studies, Shyanne had the opportunity to work with various pediatric, geriatric, orthopedic, neurological, and sports populations during her full-time clinical rotations. She has experience with various musculoskeletal conditions and has a special interest in return to sport testing and programming. She also has prior volunteer experience working with the medical team for the Marine Corp Marathon and the DC Divas women’s football team. Beyond the clinic, Shy enjoys officiating recreational and scholastic basketball ranging from 3rd to 12th grade, and periodically adult/older adult leagues. Shy enjoys spending her free time hiking, playing recreational basketball, volleyball, and bowling, traveling, and attending concerts and/or sporting events.
